  3. I do not need to be “cured”. My kids do not need to be “cured”. And we ALL have voices.

    Sadly, I’ve had to deal with this attitude from other parents of autistic children. Being an Aspie myself, they tend to get the cat’s edge of my tongue about non-verbal doesn’t mean that they’re deaf or don’t WANT to communicate – or be communicated WITH.
